Webinar to shine light on Cerebral Palsy support returns for 2025

Charities and professionals who work with families affected by Cerebral Palsy will again take part in an annual webinar which shines a light on the life-changing support being delivered across the UK.

04 March 2025

The webinar brings together ten charities dedicated to supporting individuals who live with Cerebral Palsy and their families, and highlights the ways in which they build relationships and extend their resources over the course of many years.

Hosted by Slater and Gordon, a law firm which itself works closely with families impacted by Cerebral Palsy, in partnership with NR Times, it provides a forum for anyone with professional or personal experience of the disability to come together.

The free event will be held online on Wednesday, March 19, from midday, and will also provide an opportunity for anyone in attendance to ask questions to the charities, as well as to experts from Slater and Gordon.

Held during Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, the webinar regularly attracts scores of attendees, with families, clinicians, carers and support staff among those who join.

Emma Doughty, head of clinical negligence at Slater and Gordon, says: “Families who live with Cerebral Palsy frequently speak of the life-changing impact charities have in helping them to live their lives to the fullest extent, and we see this first-hand in our work with families nationally.

“All too often this amazing work goes under the radar, so with this webinar, we hope to shine a light on these charities and the immense contribution they make to the lives of so many people.

“Our team is delighted to be able to host this again for 2025, and we look forward to seeing people who have attended previously, and to meeting those who plan to join us for the first time this year.”
