The client was working as a sewer renovator 20 feet from the ground on a scaffolding tower.

When a work colleague drove a Class 2 truck away from the tower he failed to notice the the truck was still attached to the tower through a set of hydrant tubing.

The tower collapsed as a result, causing the client to fall and suffer serious injuries.

How John helped: John managed to secure interim payments totalling £20,416 which were used to secure much needed private medical treatment.

Decision: The client was placed under video surveillance and the claim was litigated before reaching settlement in the sum of £265,000 at a joint settlement meeting.
