Soft Tissue Injury at Work Claim Ends with Compensation Pay Out
04 September 2012
On the day of this workplace injury accident our client was working at till number 15, and she needed to use the footrest underneath the till for balance.
The footrests had been unstable for some time prior to our client’s accident. Our client placed her feet on the footrest underneath the cash desk and suddenly the footrest fell causing our client to lose her balance and bang her left elbow on the till.
She sustained soft tissue damage to the elbow that came into contact with the till. Our client advises us that the footrests have now all been replaced.
Employers Liability claims specialist Sara Heppenstall negotiated a compensation settlement in the amount of £2,250 to be paid to our client.
Sara Heppenstall is a Personal Injury Solicitor at Slater and Gordon Lawyers in Sheffield.
