Client successfully secures compensation package

We were approached by an individual who wished to move from one international investment bank to another. However, in doing so he would have had to walk away from substantial compensation from his previous employers, which had been deferred in accordance with the revised FSA Remuneration Code. We assisted the client in negotiating with his new employer a compensation package which compensated him for the deferred remuneration he was leaving behind. This was put together in such a way that his new compensation package was compliant with the FSA Code on remuneration and further included a substantial softening of proposed future claw-back provisions.
