£14,000 Compensation Recovered Following Negligent Half Knee Replacement
25 February 2011
Our client suffered a fall only one day after undergoing a half knee replacement at her local NHS hospital. She suffered a dislocated knee and had to undergo surgery again. It was argued that the surgeon who had carried out the operation had damaged our client’s knee, resulting in the failure of the replacement. Our client’s condition did not improve after being discharged from hospital meaning that she became heavily reliant on care and was effectively housebound for 12 months. She sought legal advice from our expert clinical negligence solicitors who managed to recover £14,000 in compensation.
