Over Loaded Van Causes Injury to Worker

22 December 2010

Our client was instructed to manually load products into a delivery van.  As he opened the shutter door several large wooden pallets fell from the back of the van and struck him on his leg. It was argued that the accident at work had been caused because the pallets had been left unsecure in the delivery van by the previous person to use it which created a risk of injury to the next person to use the vehicle. After full liability had been agreed by the defendant our expert accident at work solicitors helped recover over £3,300 in compensation.
