Compensation for Injured Market Inspector

09 October 2010

A market inspector visiting Birmingham wholesale market slipped on discarded rotten tomatoes during the course of his duties and sustained a fractured wrist because of the accident at work. Liability was disputed as it was denied that the area was hazardous and it was alleged that the client should have taken greater care. After proceedings were issued by our expert health and safety solicitors, damages were agreed in the sum of £3,500 on a full liability basis.
