Women Wins Compensation Following Fall in Car Park

13 September 2010

Our client was walking to her car which was parked in the car park at her near by shopping centre. She tripped over a raised paving slab and fractured her wrist. A letter of claim was sent to the shopping centre who advised that they were not responsible for the car park and that another independent contractor was to blame. We then contacted the contractor and it was found that the shopping centre were in fact responsible. After our expert solicitors threatened to issue Court proceedings, liability was admitted and compensation of £2,750 was awarded.
