£125,000 Awarded to Man who was Injured at Work

13 September 2010

Our client suffered an accident at work when he fell off a ladder, fracturing his spine. Upon removal of his halo brace, one of the screws had gone missing and it was discovered that it had perforated his oesophagus. This meant he had to spend more time in hospital being fed through a tube whilst his injuries healed further. With help from our expert accident at work solicitors, our client was awarded £125,000 in compensation. It has been two years since the accident, and our client has made such a good recovery that he has been able to return to work.
