RJW’s medical negligence solicitors settle negligence case for £55,000

13 February 2010

Our client developed pain after having keyhole surgery to her knee, where her wound kept on bleeding. She went to Accident & Emergency and the staff carried out an inadequate investigation whereby no evidence of an infection was found. Five days after going A&E, she was admitted into Hospital as an emergency where she was diagnosed with an infection in her knee. Following this she had to undergo a total of three operations from this point. Our client was left with permanent damage to the knee joint. Due to the medical negligence she went through, she now has daily pain and her mobility is restricted. Had her infection been diagnosed when she first went to A&E she would have been able to make a complete recovery. Our medical negligence claims solicitors settled this case for £55,000.
