Simple Compromise Agreement

We are frequently contacted regarding compromise agreements by employees who are happy with the settlement terms being offered by their employer but who require advice from an independent adviser in order to sign off the compromise agreement. We are able to provide this advice swiftly and cost efficiently.
We recently advised an individual as to a compromise agreement resulting from their redundancy. We were instructed on the Wednesday and the agreement needed to be signed off on the Friday. We provided our client with advice as to the terms and effect of the agreement and discussed their questions and concerns. The individual was happy with the terms of the agreement but their employer's contribution was not sufficient to cover their legal fees. We therefore contacted their employer and negotiated an increased contribution to legal fees.
The agreement was concluded within the two day timeframe as requested and the employee's legal fees were covered by their employer.
