£800,000 interim payment awarded to family whose baby was seriously injured in car crash
22 December 2009
Cerys Edwards was 11 months old when the vehicle she was in was hit by a Range Rover travelling at 70mph in a 30mph zone. The collision shunted her parent’s car 57ft backwards into the car behind. Cerys suffered horrific injuries and has been left brain damaged and reliant on a ventilator. We secured £800,000 as an interim payment to allow the Edwards to purchase a new house which will be specially adapted to allow Cerys home.
