E-Coli outbreak at Godstone Farm

21 September 2009

Our client, Claire, suffered debilitating stomach cramps and diarrhoea and began to pass blood, five days after visiting Godstone Farm in Surrey with a group of friends and family.  A couple of days after visiting the farm in late August, Miss Zahra became severely ill with intense stomach cramps and diarrhoea. When her condition deteriorated and she began passing blood, Miss Zahra went to her GP who diagnosed her with E-Coli and referred her immediately to Accident and Emergency.

A self-employed dance and fitness coach, Miss Zahra was forced to have two weeks off work and the aftermath of her illness has left her so weak she is still unable to work a full day.
