Caroline is a solicitor and heads up the family team in Milton Keynes. Caroline is also a collaboratively trained lawyer.
She advises on all aspects of family law, including divorce, separation, judicial separation, civil partnerships, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation issues and children matters. Caroline also has extensive experience in advising on police pensions and actuarial reports.
Caroline has over 14 year’s experience and has been representing police officers and police staff for over 9 years. She has extensive experience in dealing with the police pension and the obtaining of actuarial reports. Whilst Caroline adopts a conciliatory and non confrontational approach to her cases should court proceedings be necessary Caroline is an experienced and robust court advocate.
Caroline has successfully negotiated and implemented delayed pension sharing orders as well as successfully representing an officer on appeal against the implementation of a pension sharing order. Caroline has experience of representing clients in the High Court in respect of a dispute over jointly owned property as well as on divorce.
Caroline qualified as a solicitor in 2002. She started her legal career with Neves Solicitors. She joined Gorvins Solicitors in 2005 and was made a partner in 2006 . Caroline joined Russell Jones & Walker, now Slater and Gordon Lawyers, in 2010.
She graduated with a degree in law from Manchester University in 1999. Caroline completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London and obtained a commendation.

Caroline is a regular commentator in the local and national press, appearing on BBC Three Counties and discussing family law issues in The Guardian and The Times. Caroline has also had articles published in the Family Law Journal discussing case law in respect of jointly owned property and delaying the implementation of a pension sharing order
