Family to seek compensation after accident at work?

A horrific accident at work that resulted in a night shift worker passing away could lead to his family pursuing personal injury compensation on his behalf.

Mitesh Prashar was at a factory managed by Duco International in Slough in January 2008 when he became trapped in an automatic inspection machine - which analyses the quality of rolls of rubber and blankets prior to them being sold - and got crushed to death.

The 24-year-old was operating alone at the time of the incident but was heard screaming by colleagues, who found him with his head, torso and left sholder caught in between two sides of the equipment.

An investigation conducted by the Health and Safety Executive found that he had not been provided with adequate training or information on how to use this dangerous machinery safely.

This comes after it was revealed that Martyn Massie died after sustaining a serious head injury in an accident at work at Pitmachie Garage in Aberdeenshire.
