Numerous broken bones and a serious head injury sustained during a road traffic accident have resulted in man seeking a personal injury compensation settlement of £300,000.
According to Worcester News, Anatolij Kuzmenok alleges that a lorry driver ran him over on a zebra crossing in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, in September 2008, which left him with crush injuries to his chest, 11 broken ribs and a severe brain injury.
In addition, the pedestrian also suffered a "devastating" wound to his arm, which will consequently never work properly again, while the High Court writ issued by him states he is at risk of developing epilepsy and is unlikely to be eligible for many jobs.
Therefore, Trevor Cracroft is facing a significant personal injury compensation claim on the grounds of his alleged negligence while driving a truck owned by Worcestershire-based haulage firm David Curnock.
Mr Kuzmenok's writ claims the driver failed to see him on the crossing, which caused the collision.
