Celebrities may seek compensation after suffering injuries
Two celebrities who were injured while filming for BBC gameshow Total Wipeout may seek compensation.
According to reports in the Daily Mail, Cleo Rocos and Kevin Adams have taken legal advice as to whether they have grounds for a claim.
It is not known whether they would sue the BBC or independent production firm Endemol, which claims to produce more than 5,000 hours of output per year.
Kevin sustained torn ligaments when participating in the TV programme, while Cleo suffered an injury to her knee.
A spokesperson for Endemol stated: "Health and safety is the number one priority on Total Wipeout and we put in place stringent procedures to ensure it is a safe experience for all participants."
She added that all the celebrities were briefed on the physical demands of the course and thorough tests and risk assessments are conducted on it.
Meanwhile, Cleo commented: "I can't say anything until the case is dealt with."
