Man injured in road accident secures £500k payout
A man who sustained serious physical and psychological damage in a road accident has been awarded compensation of over £500,000, it has been revealed.
According to reports in Pendle Today, Musavir Aqib Mubarak had been a passenger in a vehicle when the driver lost control and smashed into a wall in the Lancashire town of Bacup, which is situated near the West Yorkshire border.
The 25-year-old suffered the loss of his arm and psychological effects as a result of the incident.
"I am pleased with the outcome and very grateful to [my legal representative] who helped me throughout the case in what was a very difficult and trying time for me," Mr Mubarak stated.
He went on to encourage other people in similar situations to his to fight for their rights and ensure they receive an appropriate level of compensation, adding that while no amount of money can fully compensate a serious accident victim, it can help them to rebuild their life.
