Cambridge Personal Injury Team Win Injury Litigation Team of the Year Award 2020
Our Cambridge personal injury team are very proud to have won the Injury Litigation Team of the year award at the Cambridge Legal Excellence Awards 2020.
The awards ceremony took place over a video call on Thursday 18 June which turned out to be a great success. Everyone dressed their best as if they were attending the ceremony in person and even unmuted themselves to applaud the winners.
Crystal Eaton accepted the award on behalf of the team and said, “it is an honour to accept the award on behalf of the team. It is also an honour to work with our clients, many of whom have received a catastrophic brain injury or other life changing injuries. Our focus is not merely compensation, but equally important, rehabilitation and support. We also promote and support awareness and development of brain injury services locally in East Anglia through membership of brain injury forums and support of local Headway charities. We have other linked services to help our clients and we benefit from being part of a large national firm of specialist injury lawyers. Thank you very much on behalf of all in the Cambridge injury team!”
The team have represented countless individuals and families who’ve suffered from catastrophic and fatal injuries. Over the last year they’ve secured millions of pounds in compensation for those individuals, as well as ensuring they have immediate access to the best available rehabilitation and treatment. One such client was 16 year old Claire* who was seriously injured in a car accident as a rear seat passenger in her sister’s car. She sustained a fracture to her spine, ruptured bowels, and serious psychiatric injuries. The team supported Claire and her family in their time of need on their legal journey which they are very grateful for.
