The Red Rose Awards is arguably the biggest event in the Lancashire business community’s calendar.
The annual black tie event celebrates the best business, commerce and industry Lancashire has to offer. Last year 1,100 people attended in the hopes of winning one of the 26 awards up for grabs.
This year Slater and Gordon are sponsoring the Property Business Award category which is open to companies servicing the property sector including estate agents, surveyors, letting agents, developers, architects, building supplies and maintenance operations.
Personally, I am delighted that we have been able to support the Red Rose Awards by sponsoring the Property Business Award. There have been so many significant developments in the Lancashire property industry over the last 12 months, so it is going to be a pleasure to hear from the candidates.
I am proud to be the chair of the judging panel for this award and look forward to hearing these success stories from the Lancashire economy at Ewood Park in Blackburn on 9 February.
I will have to use my experience in practicing commercial property law dealing with property developers, investors, banks and other lending institutions as we choose the winner as I expect it will be a hard task picking a winner for this category.
I’m looking forward to connecting with and celebrating the heroes of business at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool on 9 March, which will undoubtedly be a worthwhile experience for all those in attendance. I would urge everyone to make the most of the Red Rose Awards to shout about their achievements in the last 12 months.
