Slater and Gordon support Cycling Charity CTC’s Road Justice Campaign

By Principal Lawyer, Personal Injury

The Times reports today that officers in the Metropolitan police have been ordered to fine 10 cyclists a month.

It is important that ALL roads users comply with the traffic laws explains Personal Injury Solicitor  Paul Kitson. These laws are enforced against all classes of road users without discriminating against cyclists. Motorists also regularly jump traffics and all too often pull up in the advance stop zones which are reserved for cyclists.

In my experience as a Cycling Accident Solicitor careless or dangerous driving is all to often left unpunished and this is why we have supported the CTC, the UK's cycling charity, with their Road Justice Campaign.

Cyclists who break the law should be punished but this must also apply to motorists.
