Roland Peter Wright, former Headmaster of Caldicott Preparatory School, Buckinghamshire has denied 12 offences of sexually abusing pupils at the school in the ongoing trial at Amersham Crown Court report our Child Abuse Solicitors..........

The prosecution have alleged that the 12 offences relate to five victims and include 10 indecent assaults and two charges of indecency with a child.  

The Guardian report that Wright joined the school in the 1950s and taught French and rugby. He was later promoted to Headmaster in 1968 before retiring in 1993. The alleged abuse is reported to have taken place between 1959 and 1970 and many of the victims have alleged multiple indecent assaults. The Guardian report that the jury have heard “distinctive, recurring themes” in the victims witness evidence. The trial is currently continuing at Amersham Crown Court.
