Lawyer to speak at Professional Discipline & Regulatory Reform Seminar

Rosemary Rollason, head of the Professional Discipline & Regulation department will speak at the seminar on the 16th September. Rosemary is an expert regulatory solicitor and will be speaking on the topic ‘The new Regulatory Scheme under the Health and Social Care Act 2008’.

Topics include:

  • The role and responsibilities of the Care Quality Commission
  • Changes for the healthcare regulators – the new General Pharmaceutical Council
  • The move to the civil standard of proof
  • Changes to the role of the Council for Healthcare Regulatory Excellence

This interactive afternoon event brings together an impressive range of speakers who are all experts in their field. It is to be held at Aspire in Leeds on the 16th September 2010 from 12pm-6pm, and will be worth 5 CPD points accredited by both the SRA and the BSB.
