I am a solicitor in the London medical negligence team.
Get to know Stephanie
I joined Slater and Gordon in Manchester as an office assistant in 2014 before joining the personal injury team as a litigation executive in 2015. I moved to the medical negligence team in 2016 and commenced my training contract in 2018. I completed seats in medical negligence, abuse law and employment law before qualifying as a solicitor in October 2020.
I have assisted on a variety of cases since joining the medical negligence team in 2016 including highly complex claims and claims of maximum severity involving brain and spinal injuries. Throughout my training I have had the opportunity to assist on a number of poignant cases including a best interests case, child protection cases and a human rights inquest. I continue to assist senior members of the team with their medical negligence caseloads alongside my own caseload which includes claims concerning delay in diagnosis, misdiagnosis, orthopaedic injuries and fatal injuries.
The extra mile
I am a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and Manchester Young Solicitors Group. Outside of work, I volunteer as a Telephone Friend for Age UK and mentor a Manchester Metropolitan University student and a BPP University Law School student.
