Get to know Sophie

I joined Slater and Gordon’s employment team in Cardiff in April 2017 as a chartered legal executive.

I've worked in employment law for over four years, advising employers and employees on a wide range of employment law matters, including disciplinary/grievance issues, unfair dismissal, constructive dismissal, discrimination and TUPE issues.

I regularly attend appeal hearings and have had fantastic feedback from Counsel who has said: “Sophie is very switched on and has an excellent understanding of employment law. She is also diligent and is committed to preparing cases to the highest standard possible.”

I was recognised in the independent legal guide, Legal 500, as a 'Key Lawyer' in my field and it states: "The team is a very safe pair of hands and provides excellent work at tribunals."
