Sabrina Lawlor Principal Lawyer, Serious Personal Injury
Sabrina is a Principal Lawyer within the serious personal injury team at Slater and Gordon in Manchester. She is an APIL accredited Senior Litigator and solicitor with over 15 years’ experience in the legal sector.
She is recognised by the UK Legal 500 for being proactive and very supportive to her clients, she has a demonstrated history of working in the legal services industry in the UK, Ireland, U.S.A and Australia. Sabrina has experience in representing seriously injured Claimants in high profiled and complex cases, including group actions e.g. the Salford Gas Explosion, Welsh Water Cryptosporidium outbreak, and asbestos related diseases. Sabrina is also a disability and vocational rehabilitation counsellor and a founding member of the Business Disability Forum Northern Network. She has provided voluntary support to service users at the Brain and Spinal Injury Centre in Salford.
She is passionate about supporting her clients back to work, or gaining alternative employment following serious injury. Sabrina has accomplished a postgraduate qualification in vocational and occupational rehabilitation at the University of Salford, and is currently working towards a diploma.
This qualification has enhanced her skills and knowledge in workplace strategies for health and wellbeing, and assessments and interventions for occupational and vocational rehabilitation.
Sabrina is regarded by her peers as commercially astute, and a supportive manager and mentor.
Sabrina also supports various charities with fundraising, lobbying and campaign work. She played an instrumental role in supporting campaign and lobbying projects for the Greater Manchester Asbestos Victim Support Group, Headway UK and the United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Forum as a regional coordinator of NoWABIF.
