Rhiannon Davies Associate, Industrial Disease

Experience Profile

Rhiannon is an Associate at Slater and Gordon in Cardiff. She is currently supervising a team of lawyers and also maintains a caseload of complex industrial disease cases.

She has experience in dealing with all types of disease claims including asbestos related conditions, back injuries, repetitive strain injuries (RSI), work related upper limb disorders (WRULDs), noise induced hearing loss (NIHL), stress, occupational cancers, dermatitis, asthma, chronic fatigue and chronic pain syndromes.

Rhiannon also deals with employer liability and public liability claims including, carbon monoxide poisoning, mould cases, needlestick injuries, and high value accident claims such as back injuries caused by manual handling failures. She is a strong litigator specialising in CPR and procedural disputes.

Rhiannon works with a team to develop the firm’s tactical approach in countering the claims handling strategy adopted by Defendant and Defendant insurers to frustrate reasonable claims. In Autumn 2017, Rhiannon was appointed as an Assessor for the Law Society’s Occupational Disease Accreditation.
