Nayo Kirkpatrick
Associate Solicitor
Employment disputes have wide ranging implications. My approach is to give balanced and strategic advice to achieve the best outcomes for my clients.

Get to know Nayo
I qualified as a solicitor in 2012. I act for clients to bring a range of claims for discrimination and unfair dismissal, including claims relating to redundancy, alleged gross misconduct, and ill health or performance. I provide guidance to employees undergoing disciplinary and grievance procedures; and I advise employees who've been unfairly treated, harassed, or victimised in the workplace.
Career highlights
Reaching a settlement for my clients is something I've found extremely rewarding throughout my career. I've represented a claimant in a case involving serious allegations of racial discrimination and harassment which had a favourable outcome for the client.
I've also represented a claimant in a disability discrimination case that settled by judicial mediation with a mutually agreed termination of the claimant’s employment on the terms that the claimant was seeking.
Another highlight would be advising 28 employees collectively and individually on the terms and effect of their proposed settlement agreements over the course of 3 days.
Recognition
I'm listed in the Legal 500, 2022 edition as a ‘key lawyer’.
