Lucy is a litigation executive within our fraud and regulatory team at Slater and Gordon Lawyers in Manchester.

She has over 15 years' experience in the field of criminal law and specialises in defending individuals accused of large, complex and high value fraud cases. These prosecutions have been brought by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), the Department for Business, Innovation and the HMRC.

The types of fraud Lucy has defended are extensive and include MTIC fraud (VAT fraud), land banking, mortgage fraud, ponsi fraud, advance fee fraud, insurance fraud and many more. She has experience in regulatory law and has defended both individuals and businesses against actions taken against them by regulators. This has included the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Environment Agency and the Trading Standards Department.
