Get to know Helen

I qualified as a solicitor in 1989 and am highly experienced in family law with specialist expertise in financial matters. I'm a qualified collaborative solicitor. A collaborative approach is a positive and proactive way to try to resolve disputes between couples. Those who have participated in resolving issues collaboratively have found it to be a positive and fulfilling experience. During my career I have acted for hundreds of individuals from all backgrounds and means and they all receive the same service from me.

Career highlights

I acted in a case reported as Edgerton v Edgerton [2012] EWCA Civ181 which dealt with the relationship between financial applications within marriage and Chancery proceedings involving one party’s assets which had been dealt with in the Chancery Division which stands out as a notable case.

During my career, I've worked on cases involving high profile sports people and television stars. However, the majority of my career has involved working with individual from all backgrounds. I find it very satisfying being able to achieve resolution for clients financially or in relation to their arrangements with children.
