Get to know Hayat
I joined Slater and Gordon’s employment department in Edinburgh in 2013 upon graduating from Swansea University. After completing my training contact, I qualified as a solicitor in March 2017.
I have experience in dealing with contentious and non- contentious employment matters. I advise employees in many different sectors and across a wide range of employment disputes including providing advice on discrimination, unfair and wrongful dismissals, disciplinary and ill health absence management issues, redundancies and settlement agreements (including mass settlement agreement exercises).
I’m known for always providing pragmatic and straightforward advice to help individuals achieve their objectives.

I’m a member of the Law Society and a member of the Employment Lawyers Association (ELA). I also speak Punjabi and Urdu.
