Elizabeth Comley is the Chief Operating Officer of Slater and Gordon with responsibility for Group Functions including Facilities, Cyber Security, in-house Legal, Compliance & Risk, Data Protection, Corporate Communications, and HR Employee Relations.
Get to know Elizabeth
Elizabeth is an experienced corporate lawyer with wide-ranging commercial expertise. Qualifying at a magic circle firm in 2007, Elizabeth worked on the corporate team for the FTSE 10 energy company, BG Group, where she became Lead Corporate Counsel and Manager of the contracts and procurement team.
After joining the in-house Legal team at Slater and Gordon in 2017, Elizabeth became Deputy General Counsel and Head of Data Protection, drawing on her extensive expertise in data protection and data security, to successfully deliver Slater and Gordon’s comprehensive privacy compliance and security governance strategies.
In 2021, Elizabeth became Chief Legal, Data and Compliance Officer, responsible for Slater and Gordon’s regulatory compliance, in-house legal and information security governance functions. She was appointed Chief Operating Officer, taking on additional responsibilities for Group Functions, in July 2022.
