Get to know Chloe
I qualified from Northumbria University (MLaw) in 2018 having undertaken the LPC. I spent three years as a paralegal, and later claims handling for fast track personal injury claims as a result of road traffic accidents.
I subsequently joined a firm as a paralegal, and later trainee solicitor assisting in a wide range of claims involving medical negligence and personal injury. I have experience dealing with both employers liability and public liability claims, along with claims with the criminal injuries compensation authority.
I qualified as a solicitor in September 2023 and joined Slater and Gordon’s Newcastle team shortly after.
I have worked on claims relating to treatment provided by NHS hospitals, private hospitals, GPs and dentists.
My current caseload includes claims involving orthopaedic injuries, gynaecological injuries, loss of vision, fatal injuries, delays in diagnosis of cancer, and stroke injuries.
Career highlights
I am proud to have been elected as one of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers coordinators for the North East group. We organise local speakers of interest for group meetings to discuss various aspects of personal injury.
The extra mile
I like to take part in fundraising events for local charities, including Heel and Toe Charity and The Special Lioness. In 2024, I completed the Lake District 5 Peaks Challenge.
