With the one year milestone of the first UK lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic now behind us, there has been an increased demand upon the Government to call a public inquiry, particularly relating to care homes.

Slater and Gordon have backed calls for an inquiry into the Government's handling of the pandemic and are extremely proud sponsors of campaign group, Care Campaign for the Vulnerable (CCFTV), and support their calls for a care home public inquiry.

In an article published in the Law Gazette in February 2021, CCFTV said they will "encourage families and residents who feel there has been a lack of transparency to use Slater and Gordon's services".

In recent weeks, Slater and Gordon's public inquiry experts, Kim Harrison and Richard Scorer, together with CCFTV have appeared in the media on a number of occasions campaigning for the care home inquiry, including the Express, Care Home Professional and the Mirror.

Slater and Gordon's public inquiries team has been involved in some of the most high-profile inquiries in recent years. Find out more by visiting our public inquiry information pages.
