Get to know Delia

I joined Slater and Gordon (then Russell Jones and Walker) in 1995 and have been working in the field of personal injury for over 25 years. I have a wealth of experience in successfully helping those who have suffered serious injuries following an accident.

I'm an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and specialise in helping those affected by serious injuries following a road traffic accident.

I deal with all aspects of road traffic litigation and have a great deal of experience in dealing with claims for members of the police service including accidents on and off duty and vulnerable road users such as cyclists and pedestrians. I have specialist knowledge dealing with applications to the Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB) under the terms of both the Uninsured and Untraced Drivers’ Agreements.

As well as my extensive experience assisting those people affected by road traffic accidents, I’ve also worked for people who have suffered accidents at work or in public places. I've also dealt with a high number of claims to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) from initial submission, to both review and appeal stages.

I pride myself on client care and regularly receive great feedback from the clients I've helped as going above and beyond to fight their corner.

Career highlights

I have been involved in so many interesting cases from pursuing a case against “The Keeper of Her Majesty’s Privvy Purse” following a slipping incident at Windsor Castle to multiple car collisions and recently the Westminster/London Bridge terror attacks. However, to choose a specific case to highlight is difficult as each and every one of the people that I have been able to help and give support and assistance to when it is needed, is a privilege. To know that I may have played a small part in being able to help them rebuild their lives after a serious accident is extremely rewarding.

The extra mile

I have delivered presentations externally to the Metropolitan Police and the Police Federation.
