Get to know Victoria
I started working in the legal industry in 2009, after completing my Law LLB Degree and Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Liverpool John Moores University. I had moved from North Wales to Liverpool for my education, where I have remained ever since.
I qualified as a solicitor on 1 November 2011 and exactly 8 years later, on 1 November 2019, I became a Grade A Solicitor.
I specialise in personal injury law, particularly employers' and public liability claims, and have over 10 years' experience in this field, having specialised in this throughout my career.
Since 2014 my role has been predominantly supervisory. I currently lead a team of lawyers who specialise in running technical employers' and public liability claims.
Career highlights
My career development has certainly been a highlight of mine: qualifying as a Grade A solicitor, my promotion to senior associate solicitor and obtaining ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management.
I have during my career ran, or supervised the running of, a significant volume of personal injury claims, and it is always a highlight to achieve a successful outcomes for our clients.
The extra mile
I am privileged to have been chosen as an Ambassador for Slater and Gordon. I am a positive advocate of our brand, am the voice of our people, represent popular opinion and provide important feedback to our leaders to inform decision making on the things that matter most to my colleagues.
