I am a trainee solicitor currently sitting the first seat of my training contract in the industrial disease department. I have been a member of the industrial disease team since June 2019, previously working as a paralegal following the completion of my law degree and masters in legal practice.
I assist my team on a wide range of disease cases such asbestos related claims, including asbestosis, pleural thickening, mesothelioma and lung cancer. I also assist solicitors on cases involving repetitive strain injuries (RSI), carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), hand arm vibration syndrome (HAVS), asthma, dermatitis, work related upper limb disorders (WRULD), noise induced hearing loss (NIHL) and industrial disease cases for members of the armed forces.
Career highlights
Each case that I work on is an honour as I help my clients to obtain justice for their injuries. I have been privileged to assist on a large variety of high value, complex industrial disease cases as both a paralegal and trainee solicitor, which have provided me with various skills and knowledge to guide me through my legal career.
