Get to know Fahmida
I qualified as a solicitor in 2014 with Slater and Gordon Lawyers and pursued my career in Court of Protection.
I have wealth of experience in all aspects of Court of Protection including the removal of attorney/deputy, attorney/deputy disputes, and statutory will applications. I work closely with client’s and family members to ensure their needs are met.
Here at Slater and Gordon there is a vast variety of complex cases, which provides me with the ideal opportunity to apply the knowledge that I have gained over the years.
Career highlights
My career highlights include acting for a client in which a firm of solicitors failed to register a Lasting Power of Attorney on technical issues. The donor lost capacity and was no longer able to provide instructions, therefore an interim deputy was appointed. They challenged the donors will which was created 20 years prior and a whole host of other issues were raised. After a lengthy litigious process, the Court approved the Lasting Power of Attorney and requested for the immediate registration of the same.
I'm privileged to have worked on many contentious matters with favourable outcome for my clients.
