Crystal Eaton
Associate Solicitor
I’m passionate about helping the seriously injured with their rehabilitation and recovery, as well as achieving justice and compensation.

Get to know Crystal
I qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and specialise in catastrophic injury cases, such as brain injury and other serious and complex injuries. I also act in fatal cases. I’m very determined in my fight for my clients’ right to compensation and rehabilitation and I’m known for my supportive and understanding approach to my clients.
Career highlights
I’ve had many highlights during my career. I assisted the team with a win of £4.8 million compensation for a young woman who sustained brain damage in a car accident where the driver was uninsured. I also assisted with obtaining a settlement of £4.6 million for a young woman who sustained a serious spinal injury and was left paraplegic after a road traffic accident.
My recent case successes include acting for a catastrophic brain injury victim, who was injured as a result of a violent assault. The case had been transferred to me from other solicitors. Liability was strongly denied however, I achieved a £1 million settlement for my client. I also recently settled a case for £1.1 million for another catastrophic brain injury client, injured as a pedestrian in a road traffic accident.
Recognition
I’ve been recognised in an independent legal guide, The Legal 500, for the past few years. I'm currently ranked as a “Rising Star” and the 2021 edition of the guide states: “Crystal is described as “efficient and hardworking” and “always showing a great deal of patience with the most difficult clients and yet able to stand up to any opponent, however unreasonable”.
I’m also accredited as a specialist solicitor by both the Spinal Injuries Association and Headway, the brain injury charity.
The extra mile
I’m a steering group member of the Eastern Region Brain Injury Forum, member of the Norfolk and Waveney Acquired Brain Injury Network and Chair and member of the Eastern Region Vocational Rehabilitation Forum. I was also recently a Trustee of Headway Suffolk and was involved with the firm management of a cyclist interest group for a few years. I have provided training to brain injury charities and police family liaison officers on how to support the seriously injured and bereaved families following a road traffic accident.

Crystal Eaton at Slater and Gordon took over my case after getting nowhere with another firm. From day one she offered advice and action. Throughout the years my case took to sort out, I came to think of her and the team as friends. No question was ever silly or too much trouble to answer. Now that my case has been successfully completed, I will miss this friendship and correspondence. Client testimonial (for Crystal Eaton)
I would just like to say thank you, to yourself, and your associates for your professionalism throughout these past three and a half years. From talking to you and your colleague, at my absolute lowest point... to keeping me informed and reassured every step of the way, in what can only be described as the most traumatic thing ever, you helped me to resolve the last thing for my sister. Dignity. Client testimonial (for Crystal Eaton)
