Child maintenance

This legal advice guide provides information about Child Maintenance, and how separating parents might resolve issues about the payment of maintenance for the benefit of their children. 'Child Maintenance' here means regular (which might mean each week, month or year) financial support paid by one parent to the other to contribute to a child’s everyday living costs. It’s for children who are either under 16 or under 20 and in full- time education (but not higher than A - Level or equivalent).
