Man Injured After Assisting Disabled Person Compensated by Employer

01 April 2011

When a fire alarm went off at work, our client and his colleagues were not aware that it was a drill.  As he was making his way to the stairs our client was asked for assistance by another member of staff who was disabled. There was no disabled emergency exit available in the building.  As he was helping his colleague down the stairs our client fell and injured his back.  The injuries from his accident at work left our client with painful symptoms for nine months.

Our expert accident at work solicitors obtained an admission of liability from the defendant and recovered our client £1,600 in compensation.
