Collapsing Co-op Ceiling Injures Customer

19 April 2011

A client of ours has won substantial damages after he visited his local Co-operative store only to have the ceiling collapse on his head. As Brian Hemmings was visiting the branch of the store when the ceiling caved in, he also luckily narrowly avoided being struck by a large concrete block.  He suffered cuts and other injuries to his neck, back and shoulders as a result of the accident in a public place. With help from our expert accident in a public place solicitors our client was awarded £1,350 in compensation.
