Alan Greenidge successfully defended a female police officer over an assault allegation

Alan Greenidge, a Litigation Executive in the Manchester Criminal & Misconduct department, successfully defended a female police officer at the Magistrates Court regarding an allegation of on duty Assault. The complainant whom the officer had arrested alleged that she had used excessive force against him with the use of her baton and CS Spray. The complainant had called his parents during the assault and they gave evidence to state that they heard the assault taking place via his mobile phone. The officer was found not guilty.
