GP Uses Unsterilized Needle on Patient
11 October 2010
After having a flu jab, a lady was informed that her GP had not used a sterilised syringe for the injection. She had to take post-exposure drugs following this news to protect herself from catching any infections. Because of this GP negligence our client suffered from insomnia due to worrying about her condition, irritability, fatigue, and was placed under considerable anxiety whilst waiting for the results of her HIV test. Our expert GP negligence solicitors negotiated a settlement of £5,000 for the suffering our client felt, and also received an apology from the GP.
