£3,000 Compensation Following Accident at Work

04 October 2010

Our client was asked to prepare the furnace at work so it was ready for the next iron cast.  He was told to remove the left over scrap lining the furnace, but was not given sufficient health and safety training.  Nor was he provided with any specialised equipment.  He was using an overhead crane when the hook came away from the scrap causing injury to the man’s wrist.  Our expert accident at work solicitors helped our client win £3,000 in compensation.
