Compensation for Client Injured Falling Off A Ladder at Work
23 August 2010
Our client was a self employed roofer working at height. He suffered an accident when he fell from the roof of a construction unit when safety netting around the edge of scaffolding had not been erected by one of the contractors. Our client sustained injuries to his face, and a broken eye socket. He also sustained lacerations to his left arm and his cheek. He underwent an operation to fit metal plates into his face. He also suffered a psychiatric illness as a result of the accident, and ultimately his fear of working at height made his business fail. With help from our expert accident at work solicitors, the claim was concluded on a two thirds/one third liability split.
