Client working full time but is paid part time

If successful, the case will play a big part in advancing gender equality in the workplace, given that the vast majority of part-time workers in the UK and Europe as a whole are women.
The case concerns the remuneration of a part-time worker in the public sector. Our client often works in excess of her contracted part time hours but does not get paid extra for them, effectively being paid part time wages to do a full time job.
The result will be important for part time workers, who make up 25% of the workforce in the UK many of whom are frequently required to work beyond their contracted hours in order to do their jobs.
