Woman denied promotion secures seven figure settlement

We secured a large seven figure settlement for a female senior associate at a leading US law firm who was assured she was on track to be made partner. However she was denied partnership on returning from maternity leave, while her equivalent male peers were promoted. The claim was significant because it was high value and it was brought for both sex and race discrimination, with the race element being concerned with nationality rather than ethnicity.
