Cancer claim bought forward by patient after being misdiagnosed
02 December 2009
Russell Jones & Walker has a specialist department with experts who handle claims for damages arising from medical negligence. In a case of misdiagnosis of cancer, a man died due to bowel cancer. Our Client had a CT scan which had been taken a year before the diagnosis. However doctors had not identified the cancer and had misdiagnosed him. The scans in fact showed clear signs of abnormalities. Had they been interpreted correctly, his condition would have been diagnosed earlier which would have allowed him to live longer and avoid a series of operations.
