Nestle to face damages claim for fatal accident?
Personal injury compensation may be sought by a family after a loved one died during a fatal accident at work.

Nazar Hussain passed away when he was crushed by a machine while working at the Albion Mill plant run by food manufacturing giant Nestle - a firm with 7,000 employees across the UK and Ireland - in Bradford in December 2008.

The 55-year-old sustained fatal injuries when a colleague re-started a piece of equipment known as a depalletiser as he did not know Mr Hussain was still inside after he had gone to clear a blockage of sweet tins.

As a result, the father-of-three was crushed and was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation conducted by the Health and Safety Executive found that Nestle had failed to make its employees aware of the machine's safety key device.

Sameena Hussain, one of Mr Hussain's daughters, commented: "The death of my father came as a complete shock and my mother has been left in pieces by his death."
